About jennifer

So who am I and why am I a women's empowerment coach as well as a RYT 200 yoga teacher? Well, it’s been a journey to say the least! My personal transformation began 30 years ago with training in coaching, mediation, meditation and conflict resolution studies from Port Coquitlam Family Studies, Coquitlam Share Society, International Buddhist Temple and the Justice Institute of British Columbia.

Raising my three active three sons tested what I had learned as well as my patience on a daily basis. And so I began working as a parenting coach, deep diving into meditation and taking a lot of yoga classes. It didn’t take me long to realize that the skills I honed helping parents and myself over those years transferred very nicely to other areas of life as well!

Since then I have used my training to help a diverse group of individuals achieve their goals, people from North America, to Europe and even as far away as Dubai. Inspiring, motivating and supporting others as they discover their true potential is something that I absolutely love!

I believe deeply in the healing power of nature and I am passionate about health, happiness, transformation and awakening. My passion for this has been woven into my coaching style which is holistic; integrating mind, body and spirit. I have created a coaching program that is constructed from evidence based science, ancient yogic wisdom, Buddhist philosophy and real life lessons learned off the mat from years spent as an endurance athlete, competing in and finishing some of the toughest adventure races on the planet.

What I love about my “real life” background is that I get it! My participation in adventure and mountain sports as well as being a member of Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue gave me first hand knowledge of the power of fear and how it effects the choices we humans make. I understand fear well, what it feels like to be terrified to make the next move. Ask me about that memorable climbing trip in Colorado. I also know what it feels like to be lost, off course, completely beaten down with no end in sight. I know what it feels like to think you just can’t take another step. I also know there is a way out, and I have strategies that will work for you as well as they did for me.

Pair my adventures with yoga and a dash of Buddhist philosophy and I have solid understanding of what it takes to support personal growth, create a mindfulness practice, behavior modification, goal setting and do it in a way that will focus on your strengths, which is by the way the fastest way to get where you want to be! Where you will feel supported, loved and ready to take on any challenge!

Everything can begin to change when you summon the courage to step beyond fear and say yes to living your life with passion, purpose and direction.

Shine Your Light. Love Your Life!
